Starting 2005 Finnlines will offer 3x 215m long, 25 knots fast RoPax Ferries to replace these here!

The Finnlines Hansaroute from Travemünde to Helsinki is serviced by 4 RoPax Ferries which have been built in '94 and '95 in Gdansk/Poland. Those RoPax Ferries still count to the most modern RoPax ferries in the world. With a capacity of only 114 Passengers you may notice, that the main profit of this route is made by transporting freight! The ferries MS Finnhansa, MS Finnpartner, MS Finntrader and MS Transeuropa anyway only have one Cabin category: Luxus! All Cabins onboard are 20 m² in size and all have a window and a TV. Sure you must think about the longer cruisetime of the Hansa ferries (36 hours) but anyway it's a very luxurious travelling. Here's All Inclusive! You can eat and drink as much as you want - You have paid for that already in the normal price. But there's not much to do, and with only 114 Passengers there's a kind of familyatmosphere. Because of the huge amont of truckers sailing with Finnlines, there's also a Truckeratmosphere. Everything is much smaller and more quiet and soon you know all passengers... But this can surely also be boring, not last because the trip lasts 36 hours. Another Contra point is the timetable construction. It allows you to start in the middle of the night or wake up at 6 o' clock in the morning! All in all the Hansaservice is anyway an alternative to Finnjet, not only because you have a Bridge-, Machine-, and Controlroomvisit inclusive! The quietness and silence on board invites you to a cruise to Helsinki or Travemünde! But remember to take a book with you! ;) In my opinion the prices are generally quite expensive for what you get on board.
